Support a child in our girls' home for one month - Razia's story.
Razia is around 15 years old. Razia's mother remarried and her husband does not accept her children from a previous husband, so they were kicked out. She has a brother with an intellectual disability who is now living on the streets. Razia began living at Bhaluka hostel in January 2015 and she has almost finished Class 3. Her favourite subject at school is Bangla and she enjoys cooking. She wants to do beautician training when she gets older and work in a beauty parlor.
Our girls home takes at-risk girls off of the streets of Dhaka and provides shelter, a safe learning environment and resources otherwise unavailable to these young women.
By donating to Friends of Basha, you can help us provide essential programmes that help women and children escape exploitation. Together we can help women and children find freedom and dignity.
Thank you for so much for joining our cause.
